Statistics/OR/Math Finance Seminar

Ashish Bhan (University of California - Irvine)

There has been a great deal of interest in real-world networks following
the observation that the Internet and the World Wide Web seem to have
degree distributions that are power-law in nature. In this talk, I will
report on some of the highlights of this work that have been featured in
Science and Nature and will present a new scaling law for evolving
families of power-law networks.
